Week 4 Pt. 2

 This is CIAA week and I was supposed to attend the CIAA health and wellness summit on Thursday from 10:00am to 3:00pm however, I contracted Covid-19 and was unable to attend the event or participate in any of my internship activities this week. 

Week 4

 This week was CIAA week I had signed up to go to the Health & Wellness Summit on Thursday from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Additionally we had the opportunity to attend the "Teens in Tech" Summit on Friday from 10:00am to 5:30pm however I had planned to be in the step show with my chapter so I would not have been able to attend. The event Thursday would have given the opportunity to engage in conversations regarding mental and physical health within the African American community. 

Week 3 Pt. 2

As my main major project is the BSU Catalog I also began mapping out the layout and overall design for the catalog as well an a timeframe and creating a marketing plan. Most of my updates will relate to this project. 

Week 3

 Last week I began working on my first assignment the BSU Digital Catalog. I drafted up a template for one of my coworkers to be able to create a flyer as well as creating a form for the entrepreneurs to sign up. 

Week 2

I secured an internship at the Entrepreneurship Innovation Center as an EIC Innovation Intern working with Ms. Darlene Ajayi. I met with Professor Maggy Francois and Ms. Ajayi on Thursday and stayed to learn about the machinery and help with the Valentine's Day program, and had the pleasure of making two sweatshirts using the heat press. On Friday, I attended an orientation and worked 8 hours from 9:00am until 5:00pm, getting acquainted with more of my coworkers and the equipment, and helping with day 2 of the Valentine's event, which entailed helping people use the heat press to make tote bags and hats. 

Week 1

 For week 1, I did not yet have an internship secured for the semester. However, I continued to apply and search as well as reaching out to Professor Maggy Francois, whom I had worked with during the HBCU conference in a class for the Fall 2025 semester.
